Moving to a new country and starting at Virginia Tech is an exciting step. We are here to make the transition to living at Collegiate Suites and Hunters Ridge as smooth as possible. Here, you’ll find helpful information about leasing requirements, documentation, payments, and community policies so you can focus on settling into campus life with confidence.

  • We welcome all prospective residents who meet our leasing qualifications, including international students. Please feel free to reach out to us for details about the application process or any specific requirements you may need to fulfill. We look forward to assisting you!

  • We simply require a form of identification. For international students, this is typically a passport number or VISA information.

  • Yes. If you would like to qualify using a guarantor, your guarantor must be US citizen and meet Collegiate Suites and Hunters Ridge’s standard income and credit requirements.

  • Students can also take advantage of two alternative options for financial qualifications: prepayment of the security deposit or enrollment in the Guarantor Waiver Program. Security deposits are equal to two months' rent. The Guarantor Waiver Program is a convenient option that requires a monthly fee of approximately $70 and eliminates the need to provide a guarantor or pay a security deposit.

  • Collegiate Suites and Hunters Ridge offers a variety of tour options to suit your needs. If you’re unable to visit in person, we provide FaceTime and virtual tours for a personalized experience. Additionally, we can offer detailed pre-recorded video tours if you prefer a more flexible option.

  • Apartments at Collegiate Suites and Hunters Ridge lease up very quickly, so we recommend securing your spot as soon as possible to ensure availability.
